Styleathon for Discord
Run a Styleathon in your Discord.
One rider sets a trick. Everyone posts their version and votes with 🔥. Styleathon handles the entries, deadlines, final poll, and winner handoff.
A round takes nine days at most
-
1
Set a trick
A rider's clip becomes entry #1.
-
2
Post clips and vote
Five days, all in one channel.
-
3
Vote in the final
A 48-hour Discord poll.
-
4
The winner sets next
They have 48 hours to post.
Why use it?
It keeps the clips channel active
There is always a clear trick to film, and each winner gives the community its next one.
There is nothing new to learn
Members post videos, react with 🔥, and answer a normal Discord poll. They never use bot commands.
Mods do not run the bracket
The bot tracks entries, counts votes, posts deadlines, opens the final, and announces the winner.
How a round works
Everything happens in the Styleathon channel. There are no threads or external brackets.
-
01
The trick is set
The previous winner posts a clip, taps Set this as the trick, and names it. For the first round, the set is open to everyone.
-
02
Members enter
For five days, members post a clip of the same trick. Any message with a video is registered automatically.
-
03
The channel votes
Members can 🔥 as many entries as they like during the same five-day window. The top three advance, along with ties at the cut line.
-
04
The final decides it
Styleathon reposts the finalist clips and opens one 48-hour poll. The winner gets 48 hours to set the next round.
Set it up
You need permission to add bots and a dedicated text channel for the Styleathon.
Use a dedicated channel. While a round is open, every video posted there is treated as an entry.
-
1
Invite the bot
Choose your server on Discord's authorization screen and approve the requested permissions.
-
2
Tell it which channel to use
Open your new Styleathon channel and run:
/styleathon setup -
3
Let someone set the first trick
You are done. The first rider to post a video will be asked if it should be the trick. They confirm it, add the trick name, and the round starts.
View Channel, Send Messages, Create Polls, Manage Messages, Embed Links, Attach Files, Add Reactions, Read Message History, and Use Slash Commands.
Admin commands
Most rounds do not need admin input. These are there when you need them.
/styleathon status- Show the phase, deadlines, and leaderboard.
/styleathon next- Close entries or the final early.
/styleathon cancel- Cancel the current round.
/styleathon start- Optional: start a round yourself with your own trick and clip.
Rules worth knowing
- •One active entry per rider. A newer clip replaces the old one.
- •Self-votes are removed. Finalists cannot vote in the final.
- •The bot freezes 🔥 counts when entries close.
- •A trick cannot repeat within the last ten rounds.
- •If only the setter enters, the round is void and the next set opens to everyone.
- •If the winner does not set within 48 hours, anyone can set the next trick.
- •Final ties go to the higher qualifying 🔥 count, then the earlier entry.
