Choose which part to render in the 3D viewer: the deck itself, the top or bottom mold halves, or the shaper block.
Length
Total deck length from nose to tail.
mm
Width
Maximum width at the widest point of the deck.
mm
Thickness
Deck material thickness.
mm
Nose length
Nose kick zone length — distance from the nose tip to the outermost truck hole.
mm
Nose angle
Nose rise angle. 19° is mellow, 26° is steep.
°
Nose radius
Radius of the curve where the flat deck transitions into the nose kick. Smaller = sharper bend, larger = smoother roll-in.
mm
Tail length
Tail kick zone length — distance from the tail tip to the outermost truck hole.
mm
Tail angle
Tail rise angle. 19° is mellow, 26° is steep.
°
Tail radius
Radius of the curve where the flat deck transitions into the tail kick. Smaller = sharper bend, larger = smoother roll-in.
mm
Tip radius
Nose/tail tip fillet radius. 0 = sharp tip; 0.3–0.5mm matches a realistic sanded roundover.
mm
Deck outline
Concave depth
Vertical depth from the rail down to the center of the board.
mm
Concave type
Radial: smooth arc edge to edge. Tub: flat center with arcs. Flat Tub: flat center with linear ramps.
Radial Tub Flat Tub
Tub flat width
Width of the flat center section (tub and flat-tub concaves only).
mm
Concave transition
How far before the kick the concave starts fading to flat.
mm
Kick concave
How much concave is carried through the kicks. 0 keeps the kicks flat. Can't exceed the concave depth.
mm
Wheelbase
Outer truck hole span. Industry wheelbase = this value minus the hole pattern length.
mm
Hole pattern length
Truck hole center-to-center distance along the length.
mm
Hole pattern width
Truck hole center-to-center distance across the width.
mm
Hole diameter
Deck truck hole diameter. Set to 0 to omit the holes.
mm
Countersink angle
Included angle of the conical screw-head recess. Common standards: 82° ANSI inch, 90° ISO metric, 100° MS24693, 120° stove bolt.
°
Countersink diameter
Diameter of the conical screw-head recess at the deck surface. Match your screw's head: a DIN 965 M2 head is ~3.8 mm.
mm
Countersink depth
How deep the head recess sinks into the deck. Set to 0 for no countersink (a plain through-hole).
mm
Truck flat pads
Flatten the deck underside at each truck mount so baseplates sit flush.
Mold type
Bolt: two halves joined with bolts through alignment holes. Press: halves pressed together, aligned by an external tool resting on the form's end platforms.
Bolt Press
Form length
Length of the shaped form. Must be at least as long as the deck; the press type adds alignment platforms beyond this.
mm
Form width
Width of the raised form block that presses the veneer stack.
mm
Bolt hole diameter
Diameter of the holes the bolts pass through to join the two halves. Separate from the truck holes below.
mm
Bolt count
Number of bolts along the length (doubled across the width for two rows).
Truck hole diameter
Diameter of the truck-mounting holes drilled through both mold halves. Set to 0 to omit the holes.
mm
Thickness stop
On: the end platforms meet when the mold closes, a hard stop that caps the pressed deck at its target thickness (cut blanks no longer than the form). Off: the platforms float a deck-thickness apart, so you press by feel and can go thinner.
Shaper form
Which mold half's shape the shaper top carries. Top: the inverted deck-top surface, cradling the deck face-down (the female / top-mold sense). Bottom: the upright deck surface, cradling it face-up (the male / bottom-mold form).
Top Bottom
Shaper height
Height of the solid shaper block, with the deck's male contour carved on top.
mm
Truck hole diameter
Diameter of the truck-mounting holes drilled through the shaper block. Set to 0 to omit the holes.
mm
Table-mount holes
Add countersunk screw holes through each kick so the shaper can be screwed flat to a workbench. The N/T orientation marks move to the waist when this is on.
Mount hole diameter
Shank-clearance diameter of the bench screws that pass through each kick.
mm
Mount countersink diameter
Head-recess diameter for the bench screws' countersunk heads.
mm
Mount countersink angle
Included angle of the bench-screw head recess.
°
Mount countersink depth
How deep the bench-screw heads sink into the shaper top.
mm
Engrave deck size
Engrave the deck width × length into the shaper's flat waist.
